The President of the Monte Carlo Polo Club, Francesco Mitrano, is a successful Italian entrepreneur  and a resident of Monaco with a passion for equestrian sports.  

 The Monaco resident’s passion for the sport led to his founding the Monte Carlo Polo Club in  2013 – the first club dedicated to the sport in the Principality. In 2014, with the approval of the local  authorities, he strengthened Polo’s position within the Monegasque  community by creating the Federation de Polo de la Principaute’ de Monaco. Francesco Mitrano has  been operating since 2012, he also hosted the first polo tournament – Monte Carlo Polo Cup  

 The annual event has been honored since its inception by the patronage of His Serene  Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.  Also, Francesco Mitrano represents Monaco at the World Polo Arena, his Federation is registered with the International Polo Federation in  Argentina and officially represents Monaco in this discipline. Since 2020, he has been collaborating  with the organization Peace and Sports.  

The idea of creating an International Polo event in Monte-Carlo belongs to the President and Founder  of the Polo Federation in Monaco Mr. Francesco Mitrano.

Francesco Mitrano organizes the international Monte-Carlo Polo Cup tournament each year.  The tremendous achievement work behind the whole organization is to be able to create an  outstanding event that brings notoriety and excellence visibility within the international scene and  continue to promote Monaco as a royal country capable of hosting high class international event.  

The event welcome international athletes, businessmen, celebrities, philanthropic for a unique  opportunity to share their dedicate time around an important event that include dinner charity gala,  creating business opportunities.
