Pierre Cardin Biography

French, but born in San Biagio di Callalta (Venice), the 2nd of July 1922, Pierre Cardin was educated in central France. In 1945, Pierre Cardin arrived in Paris. He works for Paquin and then Schiaparelli. He meets Jean Cocteau and Christian Berard, with whom he designs masks and costumes for films such as “La Belle et la Bête” (The Beauty and the Beast).
